I would rather retire Mother than have anyone else play her. In fact, no one else can ever play Mother. She cannot be recast. In fact, if she is recast, then Fahter leaves theshow. After this episode,we'll write her temporeraly out of the script, or keep her as a Suzan character.

I'm with Vibs and Beau! If you leave Christy, I leave! Mother's character is irreplaceable! And that's how it should remain! Even though I haven't been around for many of her posts, I still don't think she can be replaced.
