Father: Fine...I'll say my watch was hit by a meteorite and stopped, thus rendering time-telling useless...hence the late arrival. Which train? I can't read the train time-table it's got a great big black hole in it with burnt edges...

*Comes in with tray of ginger kitties. Well, I just put up the tree earlier this morning. The box of ornaments is there next to the tree... If you and the girls want to help decorating, then dive on in. No girls, not literally... Oy, these girls.
There are enough cookies for everyone, take turns the three of you... You don't think Cookie Monster's a bad influence on them Izzy?
*Laughs at question... Of course not, so long as they don't turn him into some sort of veggie monster instead.
All fright... You put up the red orbs Ann, Tabby hangs the candy canes, and Kelly gets to put the loops of popcorn and cherry after that. No, they're not real popcorn or cherries. The more delicate ornaments I leave to you Izzy and Grandma K if she makes it downstairs in time.

And to finish off the night... Story and milk for you darlings, mayhaps that one about the dreadful ghost evicting the nice spooky phantomly dragon.

Ok. Here's the plan. We take down Mrs. Moppet and ask her where her husband is and we take the credit card and then buy everyone a gift for christmas.

Biggy: Isn't that to noticeable?

Yea, i really didn't mean to tie you up. I didn't want to barrow any money this year to go get presents for everyone. I wanted everyone to think that I got them without barrowing. Sorry again.
