*to Mr. Moppet* Yes sir. I'll keep an eye on them.

Biggy: *sees a wolf outside* Uh...ummmm....*starts shaking*

Hold still. I can't hang this up with you shaking all the time.

Biggy: But...but...but.....but.....but....

But what?

Biggy: *points to the window and faints*

What? *looks out window* What in the world? It's a werewolf! *screams*

*looks over at the Moppet house*

Christy (still a wolf): What the?? *sends a mental message to Mac* Mac get a group and head for the house. I'm going in after Adam...as soon as I figure out how to get up there.

Mac: *sends a message back* Way ahead of ya Girlie. We're in your backyard. I'm assumin' that yer not in yer human form. The roof is lower on the backside of the Cole house. Don't enter the bottom floors because the kittens and Granny are in the living room thinking all is well.

Christy the black wolf: *mutters* If that man thinks I can make that jump you have got to be kidding me. I'll go through the door.

Christy sneaks into the house. Quietly she pads by the living room where the triplets are watching The Muppet Show with Izzy's Mom. Christy skirts upstairs unseen and out a window onto the roof. She begins looking for the secret entrance into the attic.

Christy still in wolf form: Now if I was human I could find this easier...but I'd be spotted in no time. *darts in and out hiding in the roof's many peaks*

 

[The Count]

*To captured Izzy... Now that you're awake and still trapped in your feline form my dear... Come here and let me give you a kiss...
*Takes Izzy into a hug, absorbing her being into his own... Mutating further...
The resulting creature has the upper body of a muscled mutated Adam Cole: bat-haired human chest, arms, pointy bat ears, bat fangs protruding a bit further out with a set of smaller cat fangs tucked next to the side of the others, brown hair sweeping in the wind, and a set of huge brown bat wings flapping behind his body.
The creature also has the four legs of a smoky black grayish cat, clawed feet, and a gnarled black-grayish cat's tail.
The wardrobe remains the same, tattered black and crimson red shirtlike robes, with patches of grizzled fur on the cat legs. He's now wearing a metallic masking faceplate that will allow for lightning shots upon a whim.

*Speaking with a monster double voice: Now to seek my darling sister... After all, what nightmarish steed is complete without a night to do battle with.
*Laughs coldly before flying off into the mid-morning lightened darkness in search of Christy.

*comes out from a shrouded corner after Adam flies away still in her wolf form. The sun rises over the horizion shedding light onto the world and into the attic spotlighting the black wolf with yellow eye's blazing. A tear falls down from the wolf's eye as it begins shifting back into human form.*

Christy: *sighs as tears fall* I'm sorry Izzy...I was too lat...*looks down and spots a necklace of a single cord with a quartz crystal dangling from it* Your crystal! You never could eat it because you were half cat. *takes the necklace fastening it around her own neck*

The room fills with light and the house shudders. From downstairs kitten screams are heard. The world outside begins twisting and changing into a world of fantasy. The U-Muns had found some pieces of crystal and had begun using it to change it into their own design as they had Adam. This was the stuff you read about in books. The things Christy and Adam had both laughed at in legends class. Thinking it was purely fiction.

 

[The Count]

*Still looking for Christy...

Fiction indeed... Was always fascinated by it myself, the creatures... The locations... Maybe that's why I kept a bit of faith in the magical and the mysterious...
Have to find that sister of mine, so much to... Catch up on...
*Chuckling a bit coldly, shifting from male monster human to catlike monster echo.

In Adam's basement lab...

Christy: *shudders at the sound* Oh man that'll put a chill in a ya. For the love of all that is good he could at least stop doing that. *Begins searching* C'mon I know it's here. You were the one to put the excommunication spell on him years ago. It was your first. I was there. *rummages through some boxes* You have physical strength and a monstrous body on your side dear brother. I have your wife's soul on mine. No to mention the first crystal I acquired. *looks over and spots the shelves full of bottles. Stops for a moment hand in midair. The thought of how mad the real Adam will be once he finds out flits through her mind. In one swipe every one of them lands broken on the floor* Ah ha! *a hidden cabinet is revealed without a word it shudders and flies open. Christy smiles as she takes out a small box*

Inside lay one small shard identical to the one that hung about her neck. When someone is excommunicated from the magical world their crystal or being is withdrawn from them. The Magic School knew Adam would be a great addition one day. Ron was his first try at extracting the crystal. Albeit it couldn't be destroyed Christy now held the piece and the power to revive it.

Christy: Gotcha! *takes the crystal off her neck and places it in her hand with Ron's. A third appears in her palm, Christy's own. Rolling them around and chanting Christy tosses them in the air catching them before they fall. Now instead of three there is one it disapppears back inside Christy*

After reassuring her nieces that everything was fine, Christy walked outside to see Mac and her crew battling it out across the street. She wasn't worried her crew was capable and held surprises of their own. In a flash, she disappears and reappears on the now somewhat calm courtyard of the Magic School. The belltower had disappeared and a looming dark castle replaced it. Up above at the top the tower struck the hour. Resting in the lone surviving oak tree an oddly familiar looking grey cat rested hidden from view amongst the leaves.

Christy (the cat in the trees): I hope everyone else is safe. Either I'm bait for the monster to become more or destined to defeat my own brother. Ready or not. Adam...I'm waiting for ya. *the cat leans its head back and a blood curdling wolf howl comes out*

*Descending near the lone oak guardian next to the castillated construction...

Yes... Knew I could count on you to remember where Izzy and myself had our true first...
*Catlike cough...
Oh sorry about that. Now then...
*Just stands there eyeing Christy without making a move.

*jumps down landing on her feet and in human form*

Christy: Of course. You forget I was spying the entire time Adam and Izzy were having their little rendevous. *watches steadily returning the monster's gaze* Do forgive me for not referring to you by what you think your name is. Adam is my brother trapped inside of you dear sir. And you are not my brother. *continues staring waiting for the first move*
