I was thinking about the long lives Waldorf and Statler lived and how they talked about little bits of their pasts in certain episodes.

WALDORF'S LIFE:

Waldorf said he was once on the Titanic. And in one episode, Statler told Waldorf he'd better get out his old army uniform, so Waldorf must've been in the military. And Waldorf ended up being married to a woman named Astoria.

STATLER'S LIFE:

Statler had 3 wives and his third wife left him and then came back. And Statler had a baby grandson who he invited to the show one time.

Wow, I didn't know this. What episode did Statler's grandson show up at?

Didn't Waldorf bring his wife to the show one episode because Statler couldn't make it and she looked just like Statler?

Speculation says she is Statler's sister.

I remember that! It was one of Bobby Benson's babies (well, one of the baby puppets used for his band)!

Yes, she is Waldorf's wife, Statler's sister.

As in Statler is Waldorf brother-in-law.
