Honestly, considering that it was a political thread and it had a lot of controversial topics and drivel, and that it racked up about 5,000 posts so fast, the deletion doesn't surprise me. I had already started to get tired of it anyway.

Yeah, it stinks, but if anything, it will certainly have a big place in history on the site.
