I always found people complaining about businesses moving into towns and ruining neighborhoods so rude. Just because you don't want a business in your town doesn't mean the entire town shouldn't have it. And you have no business complaining against a sign unless you're like Kramer with the Kenny Rogers Roasters sign.

Yeah, that's about it: it's not so much the business they're upset with, it's JUST the sign, they say the sign is "too big" and makes the community look more like an interstate.

Even though, again, McDonald's is just across the street, and has had a sign out front that's just as big as Chick-fil-a's sign for YEARS.

I just discovered yet another new video sharing site that basically reincarnates the original YouTube somewhat: Upload Society.

It almost looks like if Sarge went back in time, copied the entire source of YT's old website, and made her own version of it (because it's got this dark and sinister-looking layout to it) but all in all, like ZippCast, it's pretty much almost exactly the same as th eoriginal YT.

I know I really need to just shut the frog up by now, but this is something really weird that I, once again, discovered quite by accident... through TV Tropes no less...

http://utubeclassic.com/

I'm trying to figure this out... somehow, it's NOT an actual website (at least I'm not sure that it is), however, it's like some kind of filter that actually allows you to view and browse through YouTube (the REAL YouTube) in its original, classic design... and it actually works for the most part too: search results turn up what YT turns up, but in classic design, ratings are presented in stars rather than likes and dislikes, yet you can see view annotations and adjust playback quality... just about the only thing it can't filter is channels (took a look at mine, and the design is presented in the original 1.0 layout, but it doesn't feature any actual content on it).

Um... wow. Okay...

So... apparently, some would-be author guy is using Kickstarter to help raise money so he can get his book published.

And what book is that?

Well, the way people are reacting to it, it's essentially a how-to book on how to rape women.

I don't even know how to respond to that. For starters: Disgusting.

Are people actually backing this? Isn't there a limit to what can be backed on Kickstarter?
