My girlfriend actually threw up a lot after it.. she missed a few days of school too.

Is that supposed to happen?

I think it's normal, but I'm not sure, and I didn't get to miss school since it got them out in the summer

I use to have braces too and for a very long time. I had to switch orthos three times cause of an insurance problem or something like that. Anyway I had them put on and taken off three times and also I had to wear the rubberbands. I Hated those things more than the braces themselves.
Now im all done with them and very thankful that its over.

The rubberbands are so hard for me because i'm not consistant on wearing them.

Sorry, I'll add in something constructive now, I just saw the title and thought...

Anyway, I've been through the braces and they're inconveinient but they have given me better teeth than I would have had without them. I think I got off quite likely, I've had riends you have been rendered unable to eat by their braces at times.

So, yes they are frustrating when you have them, but eventuallly, they do pay off. Stick with them folks!

I hated my braces. I had a removable one, which I lost. I then got another one, which I also lost. I hated them both. I guess I'm just careless...

I had to have all of my wisdom teeth cut out, braces for a year and a half, and I had jaw surgery to top it all off! But I do have to say that the braces were the worst! Never again, thank the lord!

GAH!!!! I got a stupid spacer put in yesterday!!! GAH!!!! I can't eat anything but mashed potatoes, mac n cheese and ice cream!!! GAH!!!! I have to wear it for a month, and my mom has to tighten it every night!!! And it hurts!!! GAH!!!! I HATE BRACES!!! GAH!!!!

Oh, Dudes I DESPISE Braces! Y'know I had to wear elastics and I'm almost finished ( Gettin em Off In A Month! ) I just have to allign the little lign between my upper & lower jaw thingy..
