Not all organizations that collect donations make the best use of them.
It's true, you can not assume that a charity is doing its job. Sometimes donations are used to keep the organization going more than actually helping the people in need. It's not that such organizations are scams, just that they're not spending their money well. And this is true even of major charities we've all heard of.

It's good to go to a charity watch dog website like charity navigator, which rates charities on their effectiveness.

Screw them, Pepper!
You're too good for those idiots.
;P

Your kindness does not go unacknowledged--remember that.
It's the fact that you had a beautiful intention to help others that gave your actions some worth.

It's the way that they abused it that made it seem the opposite.

You're so kind, sweetie.
Chin up...and kick tem in the butt, baby. XD
Aww, thank you so much, Claud. :embarrassed: I still feel a bit sick about it, but I did bring the rest of my things to Goodwill (instead of Sally anne) yesterday, and they were so nice about it! I decided to go into the store to look at their books, and while I was doing that I saw some workers putting away some of the things I brought in out onto the shelves. So I know that they are going to go to people now who can use them. And I found a great book there that was only $3! So it was a much better day.

I just went to that site and it says right in the intro blurb that it's for American charities. But it is fantastic that something like that site exists. I know that I will be calling the BBB about my incident, though.

Yesterday I misplaced a bag with beacon in it and was looking all over for it. It turns out I accidentally put it if the freezer.:embarrassed:

Today, the most stupid thing I did was check my email inbox. Too much spam-in-a-can there be.

I check my e-mail everyday.

8 out of 10 times, my unread messages count is 0, but once in a while, I'll get like an e-mail telling me someone on YouTube sent me a PM, or replied to a comment I made on a video or something.

The problem is that I am a member of too many places: MC (duh), YT (again duh), DA, and so many others.
