I’m actually not really big on bacon as a pizza topping. I dunno why, way too salty for me probably.

Anchovies are pretty salty, but somehow, when they're included with other toppings, their saltiness is neutralized a little.

However, last week I went through an expansive salad bar that included anchovies . . . first time I ever tried anchovies on a salad, and I have to say, when they're included on a salad, you're reminded of just how salty those little things can be.

Anchovies are part of a real genuine Caesar salad, but it’s usually left out because they’re pretty expensive.

Olives are salty too. The black ones are okay. But the green ones with the pimentos are nasty and bitter.

The sea water flavor doesn’t really do it for me when taking a bite. The texture is decent though. But otherwise as a pizza topping I’ll gladly pass.

Anyway I finished my last bag of Milano cookies last night and can easily say I won’t be buying them anymore. Those things really put on the weight. 🤷🏿‍♂️

Out in PA there’s a Pepperidge Farm outlet store. When they have an overrun of product, they bring it here and mark the prices way down. Cookies, breads, rolls, the place is crawling with starch.
Everything is still fresh, they’re not selling stale bread or anything.
I like Milanos. Sometimes they come in unusual flavors like chocolate raspberry or orange.
They also have cinnamon bread. Fantastic!

My favorite flavor is the double milk chocolate - the extra layer of chocolate is actually really nice.
