I mean I have no problems with rolls, or those kinds of complimentary breads they serve you in restaurants like Outback (I love Olive Garden's breadsticks) . . . it's just plain white bread, or any kind of sandwich bread in general, that's, well, plain when eaten by itself.

Is there honestly a difference between alfredo and cream sauces?

I always saw them as the same - a white sauce made from cheese with a salty flavor.

Well, alfredo is a type of cheese, and other cream sauces may not necessarily contain any kind of cheese in a literal sense.

Okay, I’m now finding out alfredo is a cheese. I just thought it was some weird pasta dairy sauce name.

After double-checking on Google, I stand corrected: alfredo itself is not a cheese, but alfredo sauce does rely on certain kinds of cheeses as ingredients - mostly light/white cheeses like parmesean or cream cheese.

But again, not all cream sauces depend on cheeses as ingredients. My mom has a seafood spaghetti in a cream sauce recipe, and the main ingredients in the such is heavy cream, flour, and champagne (along with mushrooms, green onions, and shrimp).

So I ate at a Dunkin’ Donuts today since it’s national donuts day and this was the first time in months I drove to one since this pandemic came into place, and yeah, eating here only made me realize how much I lost interest in it. 🤷🏿‍♂️

Okay, let me just say there really is a major improvement with the double cheeseburger compared to the McDouble at McDonald’s.

That said, it still really needs some dressing up. Gonna try it with ketchup and mustard. But even then, I’m sticking with the Big Mac.

A little bit of mustard is okay, but again, when it comes to any McDonald's burgers, you really need to steer clear of the ketchup because of how they really saturate everything with it.
