Apparently, Series 11 isn't going to have an overarching plot, just a bunch of unconnected stories.

And, as expected, a section of the fanbase is losing their everlovin' minds about it.

Specifically I think Chibnall said that there will be some CHARACTER arcs, but yeah, you're right no "Bad Wolf" type of thing I don't think. I'm honestly really glad they're doing that; I kind of miss the way they did it in the Classic Series where the Doctor and his friends just go on adventures without some thread hanging above it all. So yeah, I'm definitely excited!!!
