I posted this on the Palisades board. Want to share it here! Does anyone remember the great Disney TV cartoons of the late 80's, early 90's? You know, Ducktales, Rescue Rangers, Darkwing Duck and Talespin?

I bought a Talespin video at a bargin store saturday, and I was filled with floods of Memories.

I have to say those four (Darkwing Especially) were my absolute favorites. I liked Goof Troop as well. After Bonkers, the quality really fell. Timon and Pumbaa was great, but the rest were hits and misses.

Today, we have pretty lousy stuff. I did like Doug, and I thought Pepper Ann was funny. Recess was pretty good in my opinion. I LOOOOVE Teacher's pet (I am a big fan of Gary Baseman, Nathan Lane, and Jerry Stiller). I like Buzz Lightyear for some reason   But Tarzan and such are awful.

Anyone want to add?

Ah yes, the good ole days. Those shows were great. Our cable provider has a channel called Toon Disney that shows all of these cartoons everyday. It's the best thing ever. Travelling Matt knows what's going on, that Disney Afternoon soundtrack is like liquid childhood. If anybody needs mp3's of it, you can drop me a line and I'll send it over.

Ah, the Disney Afternoon, my childhood. Duck Tales, Chip 'N" Dale's Resuce Rangers, Darkwing Duck, Talespins, The Adventures of The Gummi Bears, Goof Troops, Gargoyles, Aladdin: The series, Timon & Pumba, Quck Pack, Mighty Ducks, Hercules: The animated series, Wuzzles, Raw Toonit, Mariqunal ( that yellow creature with the big tail.) and countless others. I won the Resuce Rangers contest back in the day, with the second prize a prize package with a ton of cool merchandise not found any stores. Chip and Dale's Acorns, T-shirts, Backpack, Music Video, Stickers, Stuff animals, and others. I ate the acorns but I still have the backpack and the Chip stuff animal as well as the video.

Too bad, I don't have Toon Disney.

That's Marsupiami.

I have every episode of: Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers, DuckTales, and Darkwing Duck on tape...but I'm sure you all knew that, being you went to my site when it was up, right? RIGHT?? Well no matter now, I'm not trading or selling. When my sites come back up, give me an email and relive the classic Disney toons of old. Gotta love em!

ahh this is my kinda thead!yes! i love all the old disney Classic!

DuckTale's and TaleSpin and Darkwing Duck were always my favorite!

i tryed to like Quack pack, some of the ep's were good, but it lacked something, Aladin was very good! and i use quote's from Timon and Pumba all the time!

today's disney cartoons area all about school, weather it be a dog, witch, teenager,or alien.

but Disney House of Mouse it great!
