In her defense, yes, she does like to show off her monster form. But she does it because she wants to prove monsters are not evil.

Firstly, states of emergency are subjective. Mr. Grey knew very well that setting off the alarm would cause a mass panic for no good reason. Grace had not done anything to suggest that she was a threat. She just stood there. Since when is standing somewhere a threat?

Now, lets talk about mass panics and just...mass hysteria. Every Black Friday, people are trampled to death because they want to be the first to get an amazing sale. There is a mad rush to get their shopping done. People fall down, and others either don't see them, or don't care. Those fallen people get trampled. It is the same situation here. People were in a rush, and people accidentally get hurt under the hands...or feet, of other humans.

As for these accounts of people who "witness" Grace attack people and knock lightposts down, people under mass panic do not think rationally. They tend to see what they want to see. Its possible that someone knocked a lightpost down, but I am willing to bet some person drove into it in an attempt to get away. "Arriba Arriba doo?" What kind of scream is that? It sounds like a novelty car horn to me.

I would like to see the security footage of the whole incident. Currently, there is no real proof that Grace did anything.

Judge: I will get people to go down to the store and get some security footage for you. In the meantime, is there anyone you'd like to testify? Possibly Mr. Grey about his justification of setting the alarm, Mr. George and his lamppost sighting, one of your friends who were at the scene, or even Grace?

Judge: Grace, you are not the attorney. Sarge may call Hubert to the stand or you to the stand or anyone else to the stand, but you are currently not at liberty to do so. But if Sarge does agree to let you do that, then I think we may be able to let it slide.

Yes, I would like to speak with Mr. Grey.

(and Hubert, I'm female right now. See the girl with blue hair in my avatar? :stick_out_tongue:)

Mr. Grey, what was it about Grace that made you feel she was a threat?

Mr. Grey: Well, think about it from my perspective. You have never seen a monster in your life. You don't believe that they are real. No matter where you go, they are always percieved as evil. If suddenly unexpectedly something that you thought was a tall tale came to life before your eyes, especially an evil tall tale, wouldn't you feel that it was a threat?

Fair enough, but what did Grace physically do, other than just be there, that made you feel threatened

Mr. Grey: She didn't actually do anything that I saw. But when there's this thing perceived as a nightmare, so to speak, standing in front of you, what would you do? I first looked out for the safety of my customers, by pulling the alarm.
