Ok, from what I could get of, the guy seems to live in his shop, which is a bit weird. He was talking to someone, and this person told him that a centaur was captured and is being experimented on. He said it is a shame that another monster has been captured, and he hopes for what I can only assume is our safety...

But I doubt he can...I have a feeling that it is some sort of trick...and I have a hunch that he is the scientist who wrote that book...something about the fact that he gave it to us for free tells me that...
