It is. I saw them testing some kind of chemical before dumping it into the river. Then I watched them dumping some kind of liquid into a container filled with contaminated water and a mutated badger drinking the liquid. Both turned back to normal.
I don't know why they did it. Maybe to deprive you from animal blood. I had no chance to find out more because I was discovered...

I have no idea where Grace is, some street somewhere, and Yuna and I are in some building in the woods. Also, I indicate out of character moments with parenthesis, so technically, you do not know where we are since you are at the apartment and everyone left)
