You sure it wasn't some kind of strange illusion like what happened when Yuna did that thing to that crystal and like...ghosts or something briefly appeared?

That would be more likely. I mean, I do believe in many things but bat demons underwater seems to be a little farfetched. Maybe we need to find something else to fully explore this place.

No, it was a cave with air. They said they were the last colony left...

but in an underwater cave? This place looks more like it should belong to mermaids or something
