*While reading, a conversation is going on near the desk which I’m not paying too much attention*

Speaker One: Oh hello, Victor! It’s been a while since I last saw you!

Speaker Two: Hello. Yes it has.

Speaker One: Did you enjoy that book on poetry?

*Suddenly interested and whispers* Poetry?

Speaker Two: Yes, thank you. But do you have any on writing? My skills are a little rusty.

Speaker One: Oh, starting a hobby, are we? Good for you! I’ll go see what I can find.

Speaker Two: That’s wonderful! God bless you, Felicia.

*Surprised* Felicia?

*Looks over book to see the old man from earlier gazing at the librarian.*

Holy…

 

[Sgt Floyd]

You sure? No decorations for the house or anything?

And we need to figure out where to put the statue. I guess we could put it outside in the yard...

Well, maybe pictures to hang on the wall...

*nod*
The yard would be a good idea, just as long as no one steals it

*Quietly, I put the book away and exit the library. Later on, Victor exits the library with a book under his arm and a dreamy look on his face. I’m leaning on the wall seemingly casual. He does not notice me until I speak*

Soooo, that was Felicia, eh?

Victor: *jumps* What the- You?! What do you want? Have you been following me?! *he then moves into a martial arts stance* I warn you, I know karate! I fought for my country, once!

-____- Uh-huh. Yeah, I’m not here to attack you. And I was in the library anyway, Victor.

Victor: How do you know my name? Are you a spy? I know how to deal with Koreans like you!

What?! Do I even look-*sigh* Look, I think we got off on the wrong foot here. *offers hand*

My name is May. May Little. And I think I might help you with your problem.

 

[Sgt Floyd]

Then lets look for some pictures.

And the statue weighs more than any human could dream of lifting. I doubt someone would steal it. And our yard has a huge privacy fence, remember?

Victor: My problem? If you’re talking about Felicia and me, you can forget it! I can deal with it on my own! You shouldn’t be butting into people’s business!

So you’re just going to continue to write poems confessing your love to dear, sweet Felicia and throw them away like they’re garbage for the rest of your-

Victor: *panics* Shush! *looks around* Keep it down will ya? Okay, look. If you’re not going to leave me alone, let’s talk someplace more private!
