Rex: You inherited your powers from a dying witch? O_0 Interesting. There was a goddess with similar powers to yours. I suppose it would be possible if the original recipient of the powers was dying they could transfer them to someone else...

Well, she told me with her last breath that she can only die in peace when she gives up her powers and I just happened to be there. But I have no idea if she was fatally inhured or simply dying of old age.

So technically if Grace had the godlike powers, I could've inherited them...

Good point...maybe "I was born in a regular human form" would work better?

A machine that could tell us if we were gods.... or not...

Why do we care? How is it going to affect our living in a good way? It won't give us any more powers or anything else...and I can just see that knowledge affecting one of us in a bad way, with the person thinking they're better than everyone, or one of us feeling we have to worship the person...
