Brett: Why not? You know I'd never do anything to hurt her, and I was with her the the whole time. It couldn't have been murder, or I'd be dead too. So... It had to be suicide. I even checked around to see if she left it, because I know we can survive only so long without it.

Well, we don't know you long enough to know for sure. For all we know, you could have been the murderer. Jaz never had a reason to commit suicide, so it can only be murder.
