Is this going to be like in jack and the beanstock the real story, were we have to go on an adventure to a different realm to do something?

Rusty: Hm...interesting. *takes rock* You know, the ancient people who lived here believed that they could summon what we call today, "monsters." yes, like vampires, werewolves, those kinds of monsters. They were worshiped like gods. Why do you think this place is called Monstropolis? We know such beings aren't actually real, but some believe that these rock carvings left behind are supposed to amplify their powers. One of the most dangerous was their vampire god. For some reason, they made a carving that supposedly enhances the bloodlust of vampires around it.

Ah, that explains a lot.

So you don't believe in monsters?

Rusty: Explains a lot? O.O Anyway, this particular rock is actually not the vampire one I was talking about. They believed in elements similar to the traditional earth, fire, air, and water. They believed in solar, darkness, blood, and lunar. For example, griffins would have been solar, demons darkness, vampires blood, and werewolves lunar...

*as he babbles on Spike comes running with another rock*
O_O shoo, go back to my room!
*Spike drops rock and runs off*

Hey, what about this one?

Rusty: Ah, this would be that vampire rock I was talking about. Now, this other rock seems to have something to do with darkness, though I can't quite make out the carvings...

Rusty: Fine. We can always use more of these in our collection. What about this one?

I don't know what it does, but if they make that vampire one, I don't wanna know what that one is for...

Rusty: Well, its not like you are going to be affected by them.

...we still don't want them

Rusty: Well, you can't have a rock encouraging destruction without a way to stop it. This one supposedly calmed ranging monsters if they touched it. How the people would have gotten these things to touch it is beyond me...
