Considering A! used the former, I am sure that song is public domain.

I really hope they kept the songs in tact on the 2 Disk collection. All i know is "3 Little Mades from School" is public domain, as are all Gilbert and Sullivan songs (I'm right, right?)
I'm not sure, BUT I BELIEVE the original songs WILL remain intact on the 2-disc set, according to an earlier TVShowsonDVD.com report, they only alterations on this set are all the audio has been remastered from mono to stereo; no words of song changes/replacesments/cuts, so that's a good sign.

I might get that one too, it'd look handsome in my DVD library along side my Peanuts holiday boxed set, don't you think?

But I'm leaning more towards the 2-disc collection.

And I'm still wondering what other episodes will be included on the Daytona Jones set.

A lot of shows have used Gilbert and Sullivant... From The Simpsons, to Family Guy to Veggietales, to Animaniacs (twice- they used Three Little Maids in Hello Nice Warners).

I'd hate to see another Muppet Show Season 1 or Super Mario Super Show case (cutting scenes and using prints that replaced the copyrighted music with generic tunes respectively).
