Let's ride?
The horses whinnied impatiently as Anna conversed pleasantly with her friends. She voiced her suspicion of the sudden party spin-off. “I be thinkin’ they be hidin’ somethin’, we haven’t had any o’ these parties in nearly centuries.” She said, asserting the “century” part as exaggeration. This earned her curious looks.
Piggy leaned forward, trying her hardest to shield her sparked interest, “Um, what makes you say that, dearie?” She asked with a small tilt of her head. Anna smirked, “It be as plain as the rouge on your face, mate.” Anna replied. Her eyes were locked on the building where she was to transport them to. “It be Lady,” she said. “She’s hidin’ somethin’, somethin’ important.” She said. Piggy looked to her lap, “She even invited the low-lives to the party.” She added.
Alex frowned at their talk. This was her night, her first ball, and they were making it appear like a complete scandal. “This is all nonsense.” She justified politely. “I for one believe Lady to be incredibly truthful—she’s my friend.” She continued. “Besides, she taught me so much.” Alex added. The two looked to her. “I’m sorry, Alex.” Anna apologized with a small smile. “Perhaps I am bein’ a bit too suspicious,” She agreed, “Let’s just enjoy the party—I mean, it’s the first time she invites low ranks like us—I get some food too!” She cried excitedly, rushing to the front of the carriage to tend to her duty.
Alex looked to the side. “Miss Piggy, do you still think?” She asked doubtfully. “Lady couldn’t be hiding something.” She said. Piggy nodded slowly, “If she’s inviting the lesser ranked to such a ball…then it’s kind of obvious. She is breaking tradition—I can’t believe it, I just sounded like bird brain.” Piggy said, putting her face into her hands. “First, I look like a psychiatrist,” She began, “Now, I am sounding like Fred!” She cried. Alex cleared her throat softly, “You mean Samwise, Piggy.” She corrected. Piggy stared at her before shrugging, “What do I care, kiddo?” She admitted with a sigh. Alex allowed a giggle to escape her lips.
Anna sat in the carriage with her whip at hand, sitting next to a rather tall skinny figure. “Hello, Claudius.” Anna greeted with a laugh. “Will you stop calling me that, Anna?” The girl snapped. “I’m supposed to be sweeping the chimney—no, we’re supposed to be sweeping chimneys.” Claudia said grumpily. Anna smiled playfully, “We can get food, though!” Anna reasoned. Claudia gasped, “We can?” She cried. Anna nodded slyly, “Yep.”. Claudia grinned ear-to-ear, “That’s why we’re twins, Anna…that’s why we’re twins.” She mused. The two male impersonators giggled on the way to the ball.

“Lisa, we’ve made it!”
Ryan exclaimed, pulling her into the ballroom.
