well for me the basics still work, most muppets now adays(and yes i know you all have heard about the clips and stuff, but they arnt in use much any more cause they break and are a pain to fix) just have a small sleave or pocket made into the foam of the hand that goes from about the base of the palm to the end of the index finger, you poke the arm rod in it, use som sticky tape, and pins and it done, i have know idea what this rubber bad method is, but it seems to me that it would just break eventually :smirk:

well i've seen alot of these puppets being made with non-removable rod arms and i think that you might get more control over the arm but then the problem is that you can't store them as easy. :smirk:
i really like the idea of clear rubber bands, when i read what ddavisborg wrote i was freaking out saying "why didn't i think of that?!", yeah i'm definetly buying some clear rubber bands. :smile:
