Does anyone remember this miniseries of Muppet sketches? I recall seeing them frequently until about 1992.
Here are the two I've seen:
1: Thomas Jefferson (Don Music) is trying to write the Declaration of Independence, but he has broken his quill and needs a replacement. His servant (Grover) brings him a drill and a chicken named Phil, whose feathers fly all over the place and give Tom J. some inspiration ...
2: The Founding Fathers are deciding what their national bird should be. The panel consists of
as John Adams, Herry as John Hancock(?), 
as Ben Franklin(?) and Elmo and 
in other roles. As I recall, votes on the pigeon, Oscar votes on the cockatoo, and votes on the bald eagle (along with Elmo). Big Bird arrives too late, and storms off in a huff upon finding out they've already voted.
Were there any other ones made besides these?
