Sharing the same performer, have Telly and Snuffy ever interacted together? I know they have been in the same scene, but have they ever really interacted as in talk with each other?
Elmo has riden Snuffy several times and I think Zoe has too.
It's just so interesting to me that Telly and Snuffy are both Street scene characters that never address each other regardless of the fact they have the same performer. I mean, Big Bird and Oscar talk to each other all the time. It's basically the same thing.
Good point, why can Oscar and Big Bird talk to each other and not the other characters that share a Muppeteer. You'd just have to pre-record one of the voices which I think they do sometimes anyway. I think it would be really interesting to see Telly and Snuffy interact. I would've loved to have seen Kermit and Ernie interact back in the day. Oh well.
it doesn't seem like it'd be to hard, you just put a hole in Snuffy's back and put the performer inside, as long as Snuffy wasn't walking, it doesn't seem hard.
It seems like it's been common for Caroll Spinney, Jim Henson and Frank Oz to perform characters interracting with each other, but not as common for other performers, like Martin Robinson, Kevin Clash, or Richard Hunt.

Yes, they interracted a lot in Music Works Wonders, which was included as a bonus feature on the "What's the Name of That Song?" DVD. I read that John Tartiglia performed Hoots to a pre-recorded vocal track by Kevin Clash in that production. Aside from that, it doens't seem like it s very common for two Kevin Clash characters to interact with each other (though I think that Clifford and Leon interracted in The Jim Henson Hour episode Monster Telethon).
I'm pretty sure Telly and Snuffy have interacted before. Remember the hurricane ep where Telly told him "You blew the big bad wolf away?" There was also the time Snuffy sat on Telly's tuba. At least that was mentioned in one ep. I'm not sure that was actually shown.
