Yeah. I was like, "Dang, Leo -- puberty was a powerful experience, wasn't it?" His voice was so deep -- just -- dang.
I guess it was too hard to emulate Cam Clarke. Sounds like his voice was based on his very first appearance. But I'm totally amazed by the Raphael. I thought it was even better than the 2 replacement Raphs they actually used in the series.

I was watching the "Ninjatastic Look Back on the Turtles" and Cam Clarke was on there, he did a few bits with his Leonardo voice and it really was awesome to see. I image it would be hard to do it the way he did.

I agree with you on Raphael was well, they found a really good voice. I was talking to a friend of mine yesterday too and he felt Krang was totally off too.

Yes there some deleted scenes, actually. I heard on TMNTpedia that sometime in December, the movie will be shown with those scenes on the CW4Kids website. I could be looking to much into it, but I'm thinking that's a good sign for a DVD release. It's only like 12 minutes I think, but it could make a big difference.

anyways i gotta say the 87 voices were pretty close

aside from leo and maybe krang

i really like how the mirage turtles narrated themselves

i was talking to my friend too and he felt that if this was the end of turtles he was ok with it as the story was well put together

I figured it was time to "bump" this thread, cause I have some pretty good news.

This great special is FINALLY getting a DVD release in August 24 :excited:. I'm one VERY VERY VERY happy dude.

Makes me think, maybe, just maybe, Nickelodeon is on the right track. Too bad the cover art just has the more recent turtles, oh well, still TOTALLY AWESOME NEWS!

I noticed the movie is 70 minutes long... seems like the extended director's cut. I really hope it is. I just wish it was in widescreen, though. I just hope Nick releases the rest of the 2k3 series that Funimation didn't. They've got a bad track record with season sets, though.

Still hope their new show in 2012 doesn't suck.

That would be great if Nick did that, maybe if this DVD sells well enough, they look into it, here's hoping.

I'm also hoping this DVD comes with some sort of extra features.

I hate to bring this up as Bad news, but I believe the extended director's cut is actually 78 minutes long...meaning this release, I think, is the stardard TV verison, what a bummer, :sympathy:. In fact I'm super unhappy about that,.
