I was wrong! Chapter 11 is ready! Here we go (it's a little long. You've been warned):
Chapter 11: More Action!
Within a few moments, Ramona and all of the Muppets, super and non-super, had spread throughout the warehouse to fight the robots and ninjas.
Ramona dodged a kick from a ninja, and ran to hide behind a pile of boxes, where she bumped into Kermit.
“Kermit!” she exclaimed. “Are you okay?”
Kermit scrunched up his face. “Things could definitely be better, Ramona,” he reminded her.
Ramona rolled her eyes. “We still have to find Ashley,” she told him.
“She’s got to be here some-“ Kermit’s assurance was cut off as the boxes next to the two were fricasseed by a laser from one of the robots.
“Uh oh,” Ramona stammered. “What now?”
“Run!” Kermit shouted. He and Ramona ran as fast as they could from the robot, as it fired several blasts at them.
Meanwhile, Rowlf avoided the bad guys’ attention by crawling along the wall. As he crawled over the door to the janitors closet, he could swear he heard a familiar voice shout “Help!” followed by a “Shut up!”
Rowlf knocked on the door. “Ashley, you in there?”
“Rowlf? Help me!”
Rowlf swung off of the wall and unlocked the closet door. When he opened it, he found Ashley tied to a chair, with none other than Polly Lobster on her shoulder with a claw-ful of her hair (didn’t you wonder where he’s been all this time?).
“Thank God you’re here!” Ashley cried. “He’s been making me eat stale marshmallow chicks from Easter and forcing me to...” She screeched as Polly pulled her ponytail back.
“I said shut up!” the lobster snapped.
“Let her go, and nobody gets hurt,” Rowlf said calmly, just as a ninja went flying into the wall right next to the closet.
Rowlf looked at the battered ninja. “Okay, let her go, and you won’t get hurt,” he told Polly.
“What are you going to do, mutt?” Polly snickered. “You have the most useless power imaginable.”
“You heard what he said,” a little voice peeped up. Rowlf turned around, only to see none other than little Bean Bunny, with his fingernails fully extended.
Polly snickered again. “Speaking of useless powers,” he said.
Ashley rolled her eyes. “Someone kill me,” she muttered.
Polly once again yanked her ponytail. “Thought you’d never ask,” he growled as Ashley shrieked.
Bean Bunny hopped into the janitor’s closet and used his super-long fingernails to claw at Polly. Caught off guard, the lobster let go of Ashley’s hair and fell to the floor, where he hit his head and was knocked unconscious.
Ashley was impressed. “Wow!” she said.
“Didn’t see that coming,” Rowlf added.
Bean hopped behind Ashley and cut her ropes with his fingernails.
She stood up and patted his head. “Nicely done, kid,” she said.
The little rabbit beamed. “Thanks!”
“Come on, let’s go help the gang,” Rowlf said. The three friends ran out of the janitor’s closet, locked it behind them, and joined the fight.
Meanwhile, little Susie was still tinkering with the laser, when Bunsen and Beaker ran over to her.
“Hey, guys,” she said, screwing and unscrewing. “How did I do with the plan?”
“Me me me mo,” Beaker squeaked.
Bunsen nodded. “Yes, Susie, you did well,” he told the little girl. “Very convincing.”
Susie smiled. “Four years of acting lessons in grade school sure helped,” she said. She turned her focus back onto her machine. “Now, I think I can reprogram this to help us beat the bad guys, but I’ll need help from you guys.” She handed them each a socket wrench, and the three geniuses went right to work.
Meanwhile, the fight still raged on in the warehouse. Piggy plowed right through three ninjas, and kicked the head off of one of the robots. She flew up several feet off of the ground to catch the foot of a ninja before he could land a flying kick on her, and toss him across the warehouse.
Gonzo darted in a zigzag formation to avoid lasers firing from a robot that chased him. Finally, he turned around, and just as the robot prepared to blast him, Gonzo zipped as quickly as he could in a circle around it. The robot’s head spun around, trying to focus on Gonzo so it could blast him, but it ended up spinning so quickly that it twisted off, and the robot toppled to the ground.
Another robot used its metal hand to grab Clifford in a chokehold and slam him into the wall. Clifford, though he was gasping for air, managed to pull his sunglasses up and vaporize the robot with his heat vision. As he fell to the floor, he found himself surrounded by three ninjas wielding nun chucks.
Clifford gulped. “Uh, guys, can’t we talk about this?” he asked the ninjas.
Just before the ninjas could finish him off, all three were rammed into yet another pile of cardboard boxes by an orange wildebeest wearing glasses.
Clifford ran up to the wildebeest as she transformed back into Skeeter. “Thanks, baby,” he said, embracing her.
Skeeter hugged him back. “What would you do without me?” she laughed.
“Hey, guys!” Ashley shouted, as she pushed another pile of boxes onto Monty. “Can we save the love fest for later?”
“Right!” Skeeter and Clifford shouted in unison, as they rejoined their comrades in battle.
As the ninja-robot fight was wrapping up, Susie, Bunsen, and Beaker were just finishing their work.
“And....done!” Susie exclaimed.
“Well, what will it do?” Bunsen asked.
Susie climbed up into the laser’s seat. “If my calculations are correct...” She was cut off as she was grabbed from behind. She turned around to see Walters grasping her shoulders. Susie looked back to see that Bunsen and Beaker had been grabbed by Drs. Smith and Jones.
“I underestimated you once, child,” Walters growled. “And I may not eliminate those super pests, but I will be able to dispose of the reason I failed!”
“I don’t think so, Walters!” Susie kicked him in the shin. As Walters released her to grasp his leg, Susie ran away from the villains.
Enraged, Walters ran after the little girl, but was slipped up as Floyd blew a path of ice in front of him. Walters slid head on into a wall, where Janice placed a force field around him and lifted him several feet into the air.
Walters banged on the bubble surrounding him. “Unhand me now, you little...” he growled.
Janice looked at Floyd, still keeping the force field around Walters. “Like, what do you think, honey?” she asked. “Should I, like, put him down?”
Floyd nodded. “I say give him what he wants.”
Janice took the force field away, causing Walters to fall on top of (you guessed it) a pile of cardboard boxes.
Drs, Smith and Jones ran over to their boss, but were quickly surrounded by the Muppets and their friends.
“And what should we do with you two?” Sal asked.
“Uh, don’t beat us up!” Dr. Smith pleaded.
“Yeah, we’ll beat each other up!” Dr. Jones added, right before socking Dr. Smith in the mouth. Dr. Smith kicked him back, and the two criminally insane men fought each other.
Just then, the door to the warehouse opened, and in walked Clueless Morgan with a large pizza.
“Sir, I’m back with your pizza! Sorry I’m late, but I got.....” The goat looked up to see that the warehouse was filled with broken metal, unconscious ninjas, knocked over cardboard boxes, two fighting criminally insane men, and the Muppets and their friends.
At this sight, Clueless placed the pizza box down and fell to the floor. “Don’t hurt me,” he said. “I’m already dead.”
Ramona rolled her eyes. “Well, it looks like we won, guys,” she said.
“But, what about Mr. Walters?” Robin inquired.
The gang ran over to the pile of boxes onto which Janice had dropped the villain, where they found him curled up in a fetal position on the floor.
“Walters...?” Kermit inquired.
“Wow, I almost feel sorry for him,” Fozzie said.
Everyone just glared at him, as they heard police sirens blare outside.
Walters kept a frozen gaze forward, not looking at anyone in particular. “Why....can’t I...kill you Muppets?” he stammered.
“Poor thing,” Piggy said sarcastically.
“Don’t worry, guys,” Susie’s voice came from behind them. The little girl sat in the chair of her laser. “I reprogrammed the laser to erase Walters’ memory of you guys.”
Scooter looked confused. “But what will he think he’s in jail for?”
“Oh, he’ll remember that he almost destroyed the city, but his memory of you guys will be gone,” Susie explained.
The gang cleared the way, as Susie pressed a button on her laser. As the red beam approached Walters, he let out a scream.
So, how will it end? Will there be another sequel? Will Walters' pizza get cold? Well, you'll have to wait till next time to find out....
