How many versions are their of the M*A*S*H theme song, and which version is on the "Tee Vee Toons Presents: TV Guide 50 All-Time Favorite TV Themes" CD?

Just the two I'm aware of, the one from the movie with the words and the one from the TV show without. I prefer the TV version, and that must be what they're talking about. It's a great theme, very affecting. And M*A*S*H is one of my absolutely favorite shows. I watch it for an hour every morning.

Here I am half asleep, should still be in bed, and I'm thinking I'm hallucinating because I'm seeing stuff about suicide. I click and then I'm really confused.

Ditto on all counts.I grew up with MASH(still my fav. all-time tv show & watch it when I can),since its start & love the song;very inappropriate subject for a family forum.Hopefully one of the moderators will see this and close it down.

Geek that I am, I IMMMEDIATELY knew it was a/b the M*A*S*H theme!
I love M*A*S*H, and I actually used to watch the TV show as a BABY! I refused to go to sleep until I heard the theme song!
