I haven't seen the song Subway in a long time, and I wonder if anybody could tell me who the various performers of the anything muppets in that sketch are? I know that Frank oz performed Bert, Jim Henson performed Kermit, and Fran Brill performed prarie dawn.

Jim Henson also played the cop, Jerry Nelson played the hip dude, Frank Oz played the lavendar muppet, and I'm not sure of the others. But there were a lot of muppets in this.

Did Richard Hunt or (probably not) Caroll Spinney perform in this song?

I believe Richard did the orange guy with the hat and mustache.

What used to make me laugh was when everyone was dancing in the subway. The orange guy didn't have a partner, so it looked like he was dancing with his newspaper.

One thing that seemed strange about this song was that Kermit seemed to be really ticked off during most of the song. Almost like he didn't want to be there. Maybe it's just my imagination, but it sure seemed that way to me.

irony

One thing that is interesting about that song is the fact that the only three regular characters in that song (kermit, bert, and prarie dawn) are characters whose personalities were too similar for them to appear together on a regular basis.

Wasn't that actually Betty Lou and not Prairie Dawn?
