Wow... no one's commented on the last two episodes?! :embarrassed: :concern:

They were both very good I thought.

I will say this though... I really don't like the new Waldorf puppet (Statler looks fine to me but Waldorf.. blech!)

Funny stuff, as usual. I'm really warming to the new performers, and I think they have a good chemistry together. I especially liked Waldorf singing them out when the main theme didn't play at the end.

 :boo:

I believe that the same parrot puppet from the Pirate Episode was once used as one of the animals in the Rio Number from the Diana Ross Episode of TMS.

 Kermit The Frog: You're going to love this one, Captain Peng Gwynn & Pirates, let's go to Rio! YAAAYYY!!!"

:zany: Captain Peng Gwynn: "Arrr we going to Rio?"

 Pepe The King Prawn: "You can't go to Rio without me, okay?"

Captain Peng Gwynn: "Why not, me bucko?"

Pepe The King Prawn: "Let me tell you, my amingo. I want to know if you are calling anyone a shrimp or not, okay?"

Kermit The Frog: "What?!"

Speaking of The Pirates Episode & The Diana Ross Episode of TMS,
there is also a video clip of A Pretend Muppet Show with Captain Jack Sparrow:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=RaPgq-bbCkk
That clip first featured the same type of Opening Theme from the latter Episode of TMS; Kermit's beginning line in the latter opening is cut due for Diana not in the clip. When you watch the Diana Ross Episode, you'll notice that the same thing would happen in the opening is this: instead of seeing the shot of the Balcony, we would see the shot of Zoot playing his saxaphone a snake would put its head in; also, Plus, While Gonzo tries to blow the horn, the same snake from the orchestra shot comes out of it and Gonzo runs away scared.
Ya got it?

They haven't done anything new lately to discuss, so I suppose that's why nobody else is posting in this thread yet.

Guh.

It was part of the joke. Their last great episode was 30 years ago...in other words all episodes since then sucked...obviously the show was not made 30 years ago. The word last is not used as final, it is used as immediatly previous. The schedule still says the next episode is on sept 2 as usual.

About this last episode, not final but previous, I didn't really like it that much. It's kind of getting old. Perhaps the trailers should be brought back. If not that, perhaps bring back some more known characters that haven't been used much like Chef and maybe bring back Animal and Dr. Teeth. These guys did a pretty good job with them. The guy who does Sam is really good.
