Heh, Who was the lady pupeteer again, the one to the right of Bob?

When she had little Zoe to her right, and was talking so intently on her answer to a question, it was kind of freaky how Zoe was 'moving on her own'..looking in every which direction... Kind of reminded me of Childs Play, almost as if she where doing it subconsciously, as she was so involved with getting her story out ...

Anyone have issues with that **** snow squall on the way home? One minute you can see, the next it was like a total white out for 20 minutes.

Maybe i was just lucky? I'm from Northern RI... and i didn't see a thing... of snow that is. And i must have taken the same route as you did.

Anothing thing I thought to mention, I loved when they showed the clips. Even though we've all seen them a gazillion times, lol, it was amazing watching Richard's work on the big screen and hearing a huge crowd laugh. I wonder if they cut the Don Music clip in half to avoid showing most of the head banging (though oddly the clip started at the worst part of it, lol).

Yeah, they did cut the clips. I really wished they had the ending of the Oklahoma bit. I'm sure everyone would've gotten a big laugh from the hay gag.

WOW! WHAT A NIGHT!

I had a great time! I got to meet Jane Hunt (Richard Hunt's Mother). I gave a drawing I did of Richard's Muppet Characters and she love it.  :flirt:
I saw that! I talked to her for a few minutes after we had found our seats, and she showed the drawing to me. Looked pretty swell!

I had a blast last night. First off, I want to say a special hello to Ploobies, MuppetNewsGirl and Street Scenes, great to meet you all and put faces with the names! Stulz, was very awesome chatting with me and my boyfriend after the panel. Dave (Vic Romano) I'm sorry I didn't get to meet up with you and Steve Swanson before or afterwards. We ended up checking into our hotel first before heading over to the Shea Center and afterwards like someone here said they were starting to escort people out so we just got one of the college vans to take us back to our car in the parking lot which was quite a trek away from the center.

I thought the panel was fantastic. I can't tell you how many times I got teary eyed listening to Frank talk about Jim (SO amazed to finally see this man talk in person), the tribute to Richard Hunt, etc. It was a treat to finally get to see Oscar in person. While I would've obviously loved to have met the whole panel I did get to say "Hello" to Carroll Spinney briefly beforehand in the lobby and shake his hand (he wasn't posing for pics at the time but that's cool) and Michael Davis was very friendly afterwards, signed my book, and happy to meet Sonia Manazano again and get a photo this time.

This was the first live Muppet event my boyfriend Drew has been to, and he was delighted. He's not a hardcore fan like us, and wasn't sure what to expect but he was hysterical at Oscar and Elmo's reactions to the Q&A with Michael and found the whole thing very interesting. Had a nice night hanging back at the hotel together, grabbed a snack, etc. went out for a nice breakfast this morning. He said it was a perfect weekend. Hope everyone had fun! I got to ask two questions at the Q&A session. I asked Caroll to talk about Bruno The Trash Man and I asked Frank about him originally getting the role of Big Bird but turned it down. He didn't seem to remember that at first but I brought up the fact that he did not like doing big characters ever since The La Choy Dragon. He said "That was a long time ago". It was so great getting to talk to Caroll and Frank at the Q&A Session!

Oscar, Elmo and Telly were hilarious too! I was laughing so hard at Telly! LOL!

I loved it when Oscar was asked what turns him on and he pointed at Sonia (Maria) and said "I'm sitting right next to her!" LOL! I'll never forget that!

It was a great Unforgettable night!
I thought your questions were very cool, Jesse!

What a GREAT, and LUCKY event!

First off, let me say that if the seats where not so small, I could have sat there for 4 hours listening in on stories ....

Then, the lucky part...the after party. I went in with everyone else to the manor, and just waited for the guests to show up. I was so ****** nervous, I hope I didn't make an *** out of myself in anyway...

First up, I decided to let the line for Frank Oz thin out a bit and go see Bob and Carole for the Picture taking session. I got to tell Carole that my favorite song as a kid was I Love Trash, and I got a verse of it out of him . I REALLY hope that picture came out good....I don't even remember the flash going off as I was in such an awe ...

Next, I found Kevin Clash. I told him that I loved his work as Master Splinter, and asked why Jim Henson didn't come back to do the third one..Unfortunatley he didn't know, but they had a great time on the first two and would have loved to do #3.

Finally, Frank Oz. I showed him an old Star Wars based picture with a test Yoda masked that he remembered the moment of, and got to ask a quick question of what it was like working with George Lucas. Very shy man, considering the characters he plays...

All in all, a GREAT night...Thank you for posting it..
Neil, that is awesome you got to go to the afterparty. If I could've swung the money I definitely would've been there. I just have too many personal expenses coming up to have gone. I'm glad someone here got to see Frank Oz. Even though I didn't get to meet him, I was just so thrilled to see him and all these people together in one place.

It's too bad they weren't available for singing, cause my mom brought this for Carrol to sign.

It's very true, a lot of actors and comedians are quite skilled at doing loud and crazy characters, but aren't quite as at ease in person.
