Was the Beautiful Day Monster from The Muppet Show similar to the one from the first series of Sesame Street?

Who is this "Beautiful Day" monster, anyway? I have no idea which character everyone's talking about. :confused: Would there be a picture of this monster on anyone's avatar?

Yeah, I remembered seeing an old SS picture on Muppet Danny's Best Muppet Site, and it featured the very early Ernie and Bert, Kermit and BD. Was BD similar to the one from the Muppet Show on Sesame Street?

Guys,

The Beautiful Day Monster on Sesame Street is the same Beautiful Day Monster as on The Muppet Show.

He can also be seen in Hey Cinderella!, And on the 'Goldie Hawn Special with The Muppets'.

Oh, THAT monster! The one who played "Lulu" in "Lulu's Back In Town"! :eek: Jeez, that sketch freaks me out, but that's why I like it. :big_grin:
