I was a special ed. student, but was never in any of the special ed. classes. I was in the normal classes. I just had certain priveledges because of my learning disability (ADD) and got special assistance.

Well, up until the sixth grade, I went to a school for the blind. Then I attended regular classes in a different school, but also had some accomidations made.

I wasn't, my brother is though. Unfairly. Just because he was adopted out of the foster care system they feel he is not "socially able to handle a real school situation"

however his "normal class" teacher pulled him out of just about every Special Ed class he was in this year and for the first time he's actually passing all of his classes... which I guess says a lot about how crappy the system is in South Central Alaska

I was always in the "gifted" programs, but I hated it and wanted to be average lol
