They could do a lot of Billy Joel songs, since both bands have the same instrumentation of keyboards, guitar, bass, drums, and saxophone. Here's a list of old and new, hits and rarities that the Electric Mayhem could cover:
  • "Say Goodbye to Hollywood" (cool drum part for Animal; Floyd on vocals)
  • "New York State of Mind" (Dr. Teeth on vocals and piano solo; Zoot gets a sax solo)
  • "Summer Highland Falls" (complicated part for DT; Floyd on vocals)
  • "Miami 2017 (I've Seen the Lights Go Out on Broadway)" (nice piano lick for DT; Floyd on vocals; HUGE drum part for Animal)
  • "Scenes from an Italian Restaurant" (Dr. Teeth sings opening & end, Floyd & Janice sing middle parts; Zoot plays clarinet, tenor, & soprano saxophones!)
  • "Only the Good Die Young" (Zoot's sax solo; Floyd on vocals)
  • "Just the Way You Are" (Floyd & Janice duet)
  • "Movin' Out (Anthony's Song)" (fun stuff for guitar, sax & drums; Floyd on vocals)
  • "Big Shot" (Dr. Teeth on vocals)
  • "Stiletto" (AWESOME sax intro for Zoot; Floyd on vocals)
  • "Zanzibar" (Lips on jazz trumpet solos! Dr. Teeth & Floyd duet)
  • "It's Still Rock 'n' Roll to Me" (Floyd on lead vocals; Dr. Teeth & Janice backup)
  • "You May Be Right" (Floyd on vocals, Janice on electric guitar solo)
  • "A Room of Our Own" (Dr. Teeth on lead vocals; Floyd & Janice backup)
  • "Keeping the Faith" (Zoot on sax solo, Floyd on vocals)
  • "Modern Woman" (Dr. Teeth on synthesizers, Floyd on vocals)
  • "Big Man on Mulberry Street" (with full brass section; Floyd on vocals)
  • "We Didn't Start the Fire" (with Zoot on percussion…maybe cowbell! Dr. Teeth on vocals, Floyd & Janice backup)
  • "All About Soul" (Floyd on lead vocals, Dr. Teeth & Janice on backup)

They already did "New York State of Mind," sung by Floyd.

I have some ideas. I warn you it's a pretty long list, but hopefully you like them.

3 Doors Down:
  • "Kryptonite" (Floyd on vocals)
  • "Sarah Yellin'" (Floyd on vocals)
  • "Here Without You" (duet between Floyd and Janice)
  • "Running Out of Days" (Floyd on lead vocals, Janice on backup vocals)
  • "Duck and Run" (Floyd on vocals)
  • "It's Not My Time" (Floyd and Janice on vocals)
  • "When I'm Gone" (Floyd on vocals)

Three Days Grace:
  • "Pain" (Floyd on vocals)
  • "Riot" (Floyd on vocals)
  • "Break" (Floyd on vocals)

Default:
  • "Sick and Tired" (Floyd on vocals)
  • "Deny" (Floyd on lead vocals, Janice and Zoot on backup vocals)
  • "Wasting My Time" (Floyd on vocals)
  • "Count on Me" (Floyd on vocals)

Flyleaf:
  • "Again" (Janice on vocals)
  • "Fully Alive" (Janice on vocals)

Paramore:
  • "Airplanes" (Janice on vocals, Dr. Teeth doing the rap part)
  • "Still Into You" (Janice on vocals)
  • "Ain't it Fun" (Janice on vocals)

OMI:
"Cheerleader" (Pepe the Prawn can sing the song while the EM plays backup, maybe a trumpet solo from Lips)

Lady Antebellum:
  • Need You Now (Floyd and Janice on vocals)
  • Friday Night (Floyd and Janice on vocals)
  • Our Kind of Love (Floyd and Janice on vocals)
  • Perfect Day (Floyd and Janice on vocals)
  • I Run to You (Floyd and Janice on vocals)

Seether:
  • "Broken" (duet between Floyd and Janice)
  • "Remedy" (Floyd on vocals)
  • "Country Song" (Floyd on vocals)

Matchbox 20:
  • "Angry" (Floyd on vocals)
  • "Disease" (Floyd on vocals)

Other songs:
  • Third Eye Blind - "Jumper" (Floyd on vocals, solos from Animal and Janice)
  • Santana - "Why Don't You & I" (definitely the Chad Kroeger version, Floyd on vocals)
  • Santana - "Smooth" (Floyd on vocals)
  • Fall Out Boy - "7 Minutes in Heaven (Atavan Halen)" (Floyd on vocals, Janice can do a solo at the end)

Any Nickelback songs would be great, too. I can picture Floyd singing when I hear Chad Kroeger. Otherwise, that's all I can think of for now.

Gerry Rafferty's "Baker Street", with Zoot on saxophone (what else?) and Floyd on lead vocals;
Katrina and the Waves' "Walking on Sunshine" with Janice on lead;
"Dueling Banjos", featuring Lubbock Lou & his Jughuggers vs. the Gogolala Jubilee Jugband (from TMS S1) involving a feud taking place in an Appalachian-type valley...

Anything from the rolling stones.
Any Stones song from 1968-1974 would be great...that's when I think they released their best material. "Brown Sugar" would especially work well for the Electric Mayhem: have Floyd on bass and lead vocals, Janice on lead guitar and harmony vocals, Dr. Teeth on piano, Animal on drums, and Zoot on sax and maracas. Add a second Whatnot for the acoustic guitar part.
