Whenever I hear the song "Let it Be", I think Sesame Street should cover it as "Letter B".

They did sing that on "The Night of 100 Stars" along with Fozzie, Gonzo, Kermit and the TMS gang. Around the mid to-late 80's.

...Oh, and you know what? I just realized that they DID feature a cover of "All Together Now" on Sesame Street during its first season! Learn something new everyday...

Some more ideas:

* "This Diamond Ring" (The Anything Muppets)

* "Happy Together" (sung to a large letter U)

* (concept same as above, but it's this one song called "You Were On My Mind" or something like that. It was from the 60s, and I remember seeing it on some infomercial for the "60s Gold" CD collection")

Believe it or not there was an R&B artist named Eddie Floyd who in the late 60's did record a song called Big Bird but certainly had nothing to do with the SS character. But if he'd had amde an appearance on the show it would of been a very interesting skit.

Floyd is probably better know for a 1966 hit called Knock On Wood.
