Yeah, a few months ago, I was attacked by your not-so-neighborhood-friendly-spyware, and I was off for three whole days, BUT, non of my online accounts were messed with, however, about a year ago, I had to re-register with IMDb, because someone messed with my password, and changed it.

This one guy once hacked my brother's AIM account and the same guy hacked the computer of a family friend. He was such a jerk, he sent out disgusting E-mails to everyone on our family friend's computer, include his 6 year old daughter. I hate hackers, they are the scum of the internet. They ruin the fun for the rest of us and separate friends. They are people without hearts or souls, they are evil. I enjoyed talking with TA each night, we had some nice conversations. But now we may never be able to speak with him again. It is wrong and cruel and I hate it! And I'm sure I'm not the only one.

I've never had a hacker. What do they do? WHy do they do it? Did you know the person who hacked you?

We never learned his name, and he was never caught. Hackers crack into your computer and mess with your stuff either for fun or to steal your identity, accounts, and passwords.

TA was not hacked. I am pretty sure of that.

What I imagine happened was this (and do expect this thread to be deleted later as per TA's wishes):

TA's parents realied that TA was spending too much time on the internet. They probably investiagted this a little and found that he was a big part of an oline forum, including posting photos of hismelf, etc. Well, most parents I know would freak at that point. So they probably did. And they e-mailed Phil (I imagine) askign him to delete TA's account. They aslo changed his Location, and DOB. Two things that identify him. They probably banned him from the computer, and took control of his e-mail account., When they saw all the "Where's TA" badges, adn e-mails, they wrote a harsh reply back hopeing to stem all this discusion.

i don't know any of this, but it certainly explains it better thana hacker.

If they were that angry for whatever reason, looks like he's gonna be gone for a couple of months or at minmum weeks.....
