He was a Marine during the conflict in Vietnam, I believe.
But yeah, nothing like our little three-times-a-year bug-outs.

Wellp, llooks like its back to a hotel for another two or three months apparently. 
Seriously, I don't see why we don't just simply move into a hotel; obviously, it'd save us a lot of trouble, wouldn't it?

STATUS UPDATE! STATUS UPDATE!
WE FOUND A PLACE AT THE LAST MINUTE, SO WE DON'T HAVE TO GO TO A HOTEL!
I haven't seen it yet, myself, but I just got off the phone with Mom, she said we have a very nice, spacious, luxurious apartment, and apparently, they say I "deserve" the master bedroom with the bathroom, so for once I'll have the biggest bedroom!
It's move-in ready, they approve of Tommie, and we'll be taking some stuff over there tonight!
Cable, phone, and internet will be switched over to the new place as well, so I'll be gone until (from here) until the beginning of this upcoming week.
I'm so happy I could plotz!

Congratulations, Snowthers! That's great news! It sounds like such a beautiful place and I hope it will work out perfectly for you guys!
