I broke down and did it. I joined the Palisades Collectors Club! I'm not sure exactly what is in store, but I'm looking forward to it. I am still trying to figure out more of what it means to be a member and what the benefits are. All I know right now is that I finally got to see the model for Big Bird that you were all talking about and WOW!! It looks better than I even expected. All those feathers!!! Anyway, it'll be fun. I chose the Gonzo package. I was trying to decide between Gonzo and the reporter Kermit one. Since I already ordered a standard Kermit and currently have a Fozzie, I figured Gonzo would be the best decision. Then I can have the 3 pals together. Then eventually, I will start putting ol' Kerm with the SS gang periodically. I am also planning to get The Rainbow Connection piece. So much fun!!! Yahoo!

Congratulations Bear! Got the Modern Gonzo kit myself as well. You need to check the hairs on the top of his head and make sure they're not stuck to his head. If so, just exercise a bit of caution while plucking them to unstick them from his head.
Ordered the other tin with GITD Reporter Kermit for the product guide project I'm workin' on with help from forum friends.

And the best thing is, when you order RC Kermit, you can order him with free S&H through the club! Now off with you and enjoy the perks of the club.

I, too, am a member and enjoy the company of Modern Gonzo and his brown and gray chicken friends in my collection. The choice for me was a no-brainer (the Gonzo package and becoming a member). I just recently ordered my Frog Scout Leader Kermit, Treasure Island Gonzo/Rizzo and Super Grover. Palisades has a great for members and non-members alike but I really like their Playground which features a lot of funny commentaries, reviews, customs, etc.

As with everyone else, I got (well, am getting by the end of this month) the Gonzo figure with my Collector's Club membership, and I'll probably pick up the GITD Koozebane Kermit shortly. I've wanted to join the CC for about three years now, and finally I have some extra cash I can spare!

Yeah, I finally broke down and joined too, see what the hub-bub was about. I been pokin' my nose around the site a bunch. They need more updates and current stuff but the "reviews" are done really well. I love gettin' to look at the sneak-peek models... you're right though, bear, Big Bird was awesome! Oscar too! I found myself geekin' out a little too much...

That order I placed on 6/8? Got my GITD Koozbane/Reporter Kermit tin and 2 FSL Kermits with green scout both on 7/18.
And the kicker... When I opened up that white mailer box with the CC lunchbox inside... Found it to be a Modern Gonzo pack.
Course, that was on 7/25 and I contacted Tony on 7/26. Anyway... He replied on that Thursday and I got the GITD Reporter Kermit tin on 8/1. Nice service.

And as for RC Kermit, guess I spoke too soon. Unfortunately, there's no chance of getting it without paying the S&H fees. But that's OK, cause it goes to a great charity. Palisades Toys Jim Henson's Muppets action figure line!
