Hello. I know that the Noggin block is preschool TV, but there are a couple of my favorite shows, Play With Me Sesame and the current SS episodes from the year 2000. The N block certainly has the teen shows in which we don't want to see them! But on weekends was the 123 SS show at 5 AM. On Thursdays, 3-2-1 Contact is still on and on Wednesdays, Square One TV is still on as well. But on Tuesdays, was the boring Bill Nye the Science Guy show. And when I think Sesame Street Unpaved is off, I checked out the schedule of Monday that Ghostwriter is on at 3AM, Cro at 3:30 AM and double 123 Sesame Street from 4AM-6AM!

How sad is that Sesame Street Unpaved is now off Noggin! We'll never get to see the classic episodes anymore.

Oh my...I checked DirecTV.com, and this time, it's true. SSU is no longer on Noggin. :frown:

Oh well, it was fun while it lasted...

Okay, I did see that change, and it is very sad.

But this will help. The "Sesame Too" episode at 4 AM is from Season 25. But if you look at the schedule for next Monday at 4 AM, it does say Sesame Street Unpaved. This is exactly what I mean by "limited rotation." It's actually nice to know that they're only phasing them out gradually, but sadly, it will go off completely eventually.

 Sheesh, you guys ... stop being so negative. Are we just gonna sit here and mope about it, or get on with our lives? I know which option I'm gonna choose ...

So the people at Noggin are idiots. So what? It's not the end of the world. To say that we'll never get to see the classic episodes again is an overstatement. There's a good number of us members that were luicky enough to these gems when they aired. And being the tape trader I am, somehow I'll find a way to get 'em all (so far I have about 43 of them).

Tape trading is kind of like treasure hunting. After months of trades, I now know who has each episode of Fraggle Rock, and my collection is VERY close to being complete. Of course, I'm gonna have to keep my trading to a minimum these days (because there IS more to life than tape trading, fun as it may be) ... and I thank all of you whom I've been fortunate enough to trade with.

DirecTV says it's also running Tuesday-Friday that week...but MTV Networks' official schedules says it's only airing that Monday.

And according to those schedules (which, BTW, are not available to the public; someone told me the info), it's airing every other week, rotated with (I presume, the schedule only says "123 Sesame Street") season 25.

I'll believe the official info first...

If they're not available to the public, how did you get access to those schedules?

I didn't. Someone else did, and they told me. Either way, it doesn't matter; the official schedules say it's going to be on every other Monday. (I just cannot believe that it will be on Monday-Friday that week, as DirecTV's site says; but we'll find out on May 13...)

How about the Henson/CTW channel?

If Noggin is showing much less of SSU and Season 25 of SS and would be gone soon, maybe we need the channel that features shows from the Jim Henson Company and the Children's Television Workshop. This channel would have Sesame Street Unpaved, the Muppet Show, Fraggle Rock, Fraggle Rock (animated), Muppet Babies, the Electric Company, Square One TV, 3-2-1 Contact, Cro, Ghostwriter, Dinosaurs, the Wubbulous World of Dr. Suess, Muppets Tonight, SS shows from Seasons 25 and 30, Tiny Planets and international SS shows like Sesame Park and Open Sesame. How 'bout that!

They just had an article in our paper about the upcoming Reality TV show channel. The article said that it only needed to average 200,000 viewers to be successful.

Surely there are 200,000 people in the whole country that would be interested in a channel that showed the types of programs mikealan suggested!

I had come up with that idea before! Should we start a petition for it?
