It certainly looks like it and that's what I thought. The pic is taken from the "Daily Bit" section over at Palisades to display the "Letter" muppet scales.

1 Ryan, RC Kermit is not an exclusive to OMGCNFO. This figure is a special Palisades Toys release, as a way to commemorate the Cooper Perry Foundation. And as such, the figures will be released exclusively through Palisades Direct, and the Palisades Collector's Club.
Sorry Count, you under stood me wrong, I thought that OMG is taking pre-orders on SS series 2, not RC Kermit. Sorry for the confusion!:stick_out_tongue:

Sorry, I can't tell the difference between that and the first pic we saw. Can you help me?

Yes, it's a different picture. The first one, from American Toy Fair 2005 was a 100% sized head on a 105% sized body, so that's why he looked weird and somewhat out of proportion. Palisades has been working on the sculpt for the Ernie figure and tweaked it for the pic in the Daily Bit. And there's another pic from the MIC column, maybe it'll surface in the Bit soon, where you see Ernie's sweater with its texture applied. Course, it'll be decreased in the factory run, but I'm soooooo lookin' forward to this line finally kicking the doors to 1-2-3 Sesame Street wide open with its arrival.

In the original, he looked like a bat; I think this sculpt looks fantastic, when I saw it, I thought it was the actual puppet!

That new pic is a digital rendering. It is like the series 9 Fozzie that was shown. The final product looked a lot worse than the Fozzie we were shown. The same could be true with Ernie which would be very sad. I would rather they not release the digital stuff.

I know this is a little off topic, but the new Ernie looks GREAT! Even Better than the current puppet.
