Please Note: The episode "Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Sesame Street" was scheduled to premiere on the Max streaming service on Thursday, January 23 according to the Sesame Street Season 55 Press Kit, however, the episode did not debut until three days later on Sunday, January 26, 2025.

"Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Sesame Street" premiered this morning on the Max streaming service, three days later than originally scheduled on Thursday, January 23.

This appears to be the first time a new Sesame Street episode has debuted on a Sunday. However, there have been numerous Sesame Street specials over the years that have premiered on a Sunday.
