I saw Gund is doing a mystery box of plush.

Wait . . . those are Gund plushes? What the frog happened?! Gund's plushes have always been well-designed, these things look ridiculous! What's up with their legs and feet?

This is for a mystery box set Gund is doing, I still prefer the larger Sesame plushes.

Though I wish Gund did a Herry Monster plush, the pop is nice but plushies are better.

You shouldn't really be surprised by this; hardly any merchandise anymore replicates characters in their truest form. Chibi/Funko Pops are in, so thank God they didn't go as overboard as that (but were clearly influenced by it). This is actually rather tame.

I don’t mind the chibi design, when it still have somewhat of a detail. I don’t really mind the Pops, however I don’t care for Dorbz or anything else.
