Sesame Street Old School Outline

Season 3: Meeting Oscar’s family

Sponsors: F, S, 12

Scene 1: Oscar is waiting for his family to arrive on Sesame Street. Bob and Gordon are curious to see what the Grouch family will be like. (Bob: “Are they really coming today?” Oscar: “No, they’re coming in twenty-seven years…OF COURSE they’re coming today, you dingo!”)

[S is for Snipping Some Sensational Stuff]

Film: Mad Painter #12
Ummm, no such film was actually made; the series stopped at #11. Has anybody done a fan outline/fan-script for Mad Painter #12 as a hypothetical? (The character would need to escape from whatever institution committed him in the 11 film, and probably get arrested by a police officer who catches the Mad Painter leaving his mark on public property again....maybe a food cart of some kind.)

Though I wonder what theme could have been used for a Mad Painter #12 sketch, if It would have been produced.

Originally, I had thought the Mad Painter sketches only went to number 10, but little did I know that there was a number 11 sketch, but I never saw it until early in 1981 on a PBS broadcast. Just goes to show how dependent I was on Canadian Sesame Street prior to 1981.
