Looks like the situation's taken care of. Thanks go out to the MC mods.

Just hope Kev reads the one PM about changing the thread's title so the year's corrected.
Have a great Thanksgiving!

For those interested, here is a list of the characters on the float this year...

Muppets:
Big Bird
Oscar the Grouch

Ernie
Bert
Prairie Dawn
Hoots the Owl
Maurice
Fat Blue
Penguin

Humans:

Oddly, I did not see Telly, Baby Bear or The Count. I'm pretty sure they weren't there at all, but if someone can tell me differently I would be grateful.

Oops. Double post.
Well, just so this doesn't go to waste, I have a theory as to why Barkley nor Alice were on the float this year. Probably because it was raining and they didn't want to have to deal with them getting wet. As there would be no where to put them where they'd be safe. They already had Big Bird moved to the doorway with an umbrella over him and a raincoat on.

If anyone can get this up on Youtube I would really love to see it. I wasn't able to because our Dish Network had turned all of our local channels off so I wasn't able to and with an antenna it was still no good to see either.

Papa Roy and I watched the parade while the men-folk moaned and groaned about missing some other program and the women-folk were in the kitchen gossiping to each other about each other! HA HA!

I was disappointed in the weather because they had to keep the balloons so close to the ground. Would have been wonderful to have had them flying high like they should be.

Great showing, though Matt Louer's still on a one-year ban from SS.
What's this about? Did I miss the explanation somewhere? Nerdy minds need to know (that's me)!

Eh... I'm just upset about how during last year's representation at the parade that guy quoted information that he should've done his homework on more thoroughly. But since I've made that same mistake myself, I'd let him off the hook for that.

But what made me mad with him all over again was how, as the media journalist superstar that he is, came back during Season 37 and stirred up that whole stupid overhype media controversy about how Cookie Monster would be changed to Veggie Monster as the blue-furred cookie devourer would start learning the benefits of healthier eating habits. Oy, when will the media learn...
Never mind, nothing to see here... Keep moving, go about your business.

I saw it, and thought it was another good Sesame Street showing in the parade. Liked the song, glad so many Muppet's and humans were there, and liked the Super Grover float as well as the usual Big Bird. (Who looked really cute.)

I was absolutely floored that Susan was there! Nice to know she's still around. But I didn't see Luis anywhere. Where was he standing?

Luis was on the upper platform above the nest with Bob and Susan. Susan was on the float last year too. Nice to see her again this year. In fact, the whole human cast was there except Maria (Sonia Manzano).

I...errr... thought that was supposed to be a joke.

Anyway, he completly flopped all over the Grover Balloon explaination. How is "Global Grover" his secret identity? And Did he almost say "Grobal Glover" at one point?

I noticed Fat Blue there too. Too bad Count wasn't visable. I usually love how they dress him in "Christmas Carol" propperness for his appearances.

Yeah... It was meant as a joke. But after having to explain to so many people here on the boards that Cookie Monster isn't being turned into Veggie Monster and his past history... Any semblance of humor in a segment like that gets lost immediately.

Missed the Super Grover balloon's appearance, was getting ready for my family's lunch.
