Is that Countess Von Backwards that appears in the Number of the Day sketches now? Why is she called Von Backwards when she doesn't count backwards, she just yells "Schtooooooop!" I didn't know that was Fran Brill. It is weird that her voice is so much deeper than her boyfriend's. HAHA!

Actually, I'm in doubt as to which Countess it is myself. Perhaps some of you like MuppetDude or Bryan can help. The Countess who appears in the Number of the Day song, she has a numbered necklace fright? Well, from right shoulder to left shoulder, what numbers does she have on her necklace and in what order are they? That can help answer the question.

Oh, and here's one for you to ponder.
What's the name of the song sung by Ernie, as voiced by Jim, on the farm where he wonders which things grow above the ground and which grow below?

Will post tomorrow with the characters from 4099... But wanted to ask MuppetDude something else.
The Plaza Sésamo list you want I should post... Do you want it restricted to human cast only, Muppet cast only, or everything I got from that production?

I'm not sure of the exact title of the song. I just referred to it as "Plants Can Grow High, Plants Can Grow Low". Hope that helps. Loved Jerry Nelson voicing the potato.

Ernie: But what about parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme?
Potato: Sorry, Ernie. We're out of time!

I wasn't too sure myself which Countess it is. I didn't get a good look at her necklace. Though, from the photos on "Sesame Encyclopedia," I'm assuming it's Von Backwards. I really don't think Von Dahling has been around since the 70s, but I could be wrong.

Just Muppets, please.

As far as the Countess goes, lately she's only been referred to as "The Countess", but she doesn't wear a numbered necklace of any kind (at least, I didn't see any). I'd assume this is Dahling von Dahling, since Camille doesn't seem to work with the Muppets anymore. Also, this Countess on the current shows usually wears a blue dress in most appearances; I'm not sure if that helps.

Will do, though a bit later today. Gotta post that, and send the message to SecretSquirrel for the monster in question.
Uh, that wasn't me who posted that about the Countess, it was Bryan (Bear).
If she has blondish hair, then I'd say it's Countess Dahling van Dahling.
And is the other one's name Countess von Backwards? Asking cause I saw on imdb.com they have it as "Countless".

Oh yeah, before I forget...

From 4099: Will It Sink or Float/Nature Day.
Adventures of Trash Gordon: The Pots and Pansians.
The Gardener, from Desperate Houseplants.
Also, who were the two plants in that sketch? Me thinks Stinky was one but who was the female-sounding plant?

And from a classic Ernie sketch, Forest Fashions.
Twiggy, the tree dressed for Winter.
Verishka, not sure how it's spelled, the tree dressed for Spring with the bird's nest.
Carol and Debbie, the two trees dressed for Summer with the hammock.
Tanya, the tree dressed for Fall.

Hope to hear from you guys soon and have a good day.

I really don't know if that's Von Dahling on the show today. She looks more like the pic in the encyclopedia of Von Backwards, but if most people here say that it was Fran performing her, than I suppose Fran could have performed Von Backwards, or maybe now the Count is dating a third Countess who has nothing to do with either of them. I guess I'll have to check the pics again and see if I can make sense of this.

By the way, did one of the Pots and Pansians remind anyone of the original orange Oscar? I thought there was one that looked kind of similar to him, except maybe a little more reddish.

Stinky the Stinkweed was one of the plants, the other was what appeared to be the Stuckweed Plant that was seen in The Adventures of Elmo in Grouchland (only here in a pot). This one had a female voice though, you're right. So I'm not really sure how you would list that. I would probably make it a separate entry. Obviously it isn't meant to be the same character.
