Heck, they should just let Ryan perform Pepe. He's been doing a heck of a job, in "Things They'd Never Say" thread. Lol.

i can't do pepe's voice, but i can write for him!

about frank oz and eric, i think i read somewhere that frank did help eric with coaching him for the voices on the characters in sesame street.

anyways, no more off topicness. back to rowlf the dog!!!!

Didn't we start using VMC.

Thanks, Foz. That probably would be better. I mean "Ivamicmum," sounds like kind of an itch cream or something. Lol.

Alright, you can just do the puppateering, okay. Let the Daf-man handle my voice. He is quite good at it, okay.

Seriously, I've noticed I can do a pretty good Pepe voice. I wish you all could hear it.

Look, THIS is the topic- :sympathy: ROWLF.
You know one thing I always loved, and would like to see more of? Rowlf-Fozzie interactions. I was thinking of some of the thingss they'd done together, duets & such ("Can you play hatless?" "I don't know, who wrote it?"), and just how funny they were....Fozzie's relationship with Rowlf is different than his relationship w/Kermit.....

That is funn-ee, especially as Kermit and Rowlf were performed by Jim Henson!!

It's kinda like Muley interacts very well with the mascots, RiverThing and Sheldon, of the Memphis RiverKings Hockey team having whole conversations and joking; but, in real-life neither I nor the mascot performers will talk to each other much except for "Hi, howyadoin'?"

The interactions between Fozzie and Kermit and Rowlf are certainly different.

MFest TMS LIVE! Was cool to see Rowlf and Kermit talking together. Would have loved to see more Rowlf, though.

You know what's weird? I've read that they wanted to have Kermit and Rowlf interact with each other more often on TMS, but this couldn't be done since they had the same performer. But now that Steve's doing Kermit and Bill's doing Rowlf, it's possible. They should take that into consideration for the new Muppet show.

The best Rowlf Kermit interaction is most definatly in TMM. They sang together and had a conversation and it was seemless, until the end when rwolf sang and did scat at the same time, but hey it's the muppet's charm.

It's like to gear Bill's Rowlf when he has a script and is on the new muppet show. Because that making of movie was pretty much ad-lib, I think he reverted to Bobo since bobo is his character more than Rowlf is. The voice is close, but he needs to get the dialect down. I think that is what makes Ecric's Fozzie and Piggy so good. He not only has the voice, but also the dialect. The way the characters speak is just as important as how they sound, though I guess thats the same thing, only different.

but his voice sounds like bobo the bears voice. but hey, i was so glad to see rowlf speak. he needs to be on camera more in the future..

Thanks for recommending that site. I've noticed Rowlf's voice was lower, but not too bad. Overall, that "Gone Fishin' video is very good. I'll have to watch more of it.

Hi-diddle-de-de! An actor's life for me!
A high silk hat and a silver chain,
A watch of gold, and a diamond chain,
Hi-diddle-de-do! You sleep 'til after two.
You walk around with a ig cigar,
You drive around in a fancy car,
You dine on chicken and caviar.
Hi-diddle-de-de! An actor's life for me!

I'm going to do something really funny!

Well, leaving the stage is funnier than some things the bear's done.

Ok, Rowlf! Ask me why I'm holding the fish!

Oh, Fozzie! Why are you holding the fish?

Oh, just for the halibut.

You shoulda stuck with leaving the stage.

Oh, Rowlf! Ask me why I'm holding the hoop!

Oh, Fozzie, why are you holding the hoop?

Uh... cuz Statler and Waldorf are always saying the show is hoopless! ... Just for the halibut.
