*gets up and shuts the curtain*

(Out of character - Wait a minute. I'm a little confused. Count are you still playing The Count or are you playing Garfield now. After all, I had Floyd go with him, so I don't know if he went with the cat or the Count. Can someone please clear that up? Thanks.)

*Out of character, for Daffyfan2003's benefit: No, I'm still playing as my namesake SS Muppet character. It's just that when Docnzhos as Rowlf mentioned he'd be outside waiting for the packages from the mailman I wanted to inject some life into the thread and made the comment based on my equal fandom knowledge of Garfield.

*Still out of character: BTW: Daffyfan2003, whenever we just want to speak to each other as ourselves and not as our characters, we post "*Out of Character" or "*Breaking Character" and then "*Back in Character" at the end.

*Out of Character 2: Katsy, I'm also a fan of Garfield, always thought Nermal was a girl cat given its voice on the show.

Ah, thank you for helping with the groceries Prairie. There's some freshly made hot chocolate if you want some.

*Knocks on Piggy's door. Uh, please excuse me Miss Piggy, just vanted to know if there's anything specific you vant in terms of food for the party. We got some groceries last night and are ready to work our magic in the kitchen, but we'd like to know if there's a list of specific dishes you want prepared.
Again, sorry to interrupt.

Well guys, we..uhh...gotta...umm...well...I gotta go order Piggy's corsage. So I'll be back soon. Does anyone need anything??

*Out of character: Wait Nermal is a girl??? I thought he..errr..she was a he. If that even makes sense. Man do I need to rewatch some Garfield.

*Out of character: Yes, that made sense. Always thought Nermal was a girl given the character's voice performer on the animated series, but Katsy says it's a boy cat.

Ah, this has certainly helped calm my nerves. Counting up the hard-boiled eggs I've peeled after they've already boiled for a couple of hours and chilled likewise.
Mmmm, these'll be some vonderful devilled eggs for the party! *Speaking to two bats as kitchen helpers.
Please pass the black pepper, Sascha. Thank you my little one, now to add this to the mushed up yolks.
Ah, and so we work on. BTW: Has anyone seen Miss Piggy? Hoping she lets me know if there's anything special she wants for the party, after all it's her Christmas party.

Argh! That frog is just to slippery.

*turns to the Count* Just make sure all the appetizers are filled, and make sure there is enough side dishes to go with the meal.

*dusts off dress* I should get back to cleaning now.

Vill do! OK my little bats, let's go over what we've got.
Devilled eggs with black pepper yolks.
*Bats squeak as to check the items onto the list.
Spritzing gingerale and sparkling black cherry soda.
Roasted turkey made by the Swedish Chef.
Birdseed chocolate cookies.
Chocolate chip cookies in normal round shapes with crushed nuts.

Good, now then what else.
Traditional home-made stuffing, we'll need another bag of chestnuts though.
Little omelette squares for everyone to take on toothpicks, we'll need potatoes and some more eggs for that.
Blood sausages, mmm now that sounds good.
And of course there's the spinach dip for the freshly cut carrotsticks and cucumbers, and the fishpaste for the buttered crackers.
OK, I think we have everything to work our black magic here, oh just remember to get a bag of candy canes when you get the chestnuts to hand out as door gifts.

*Bats fly to dorm room and get the Count's wallet for a few shopping errands.
I'll be back in a little while, please help yourselves to the strawberry eggnog in the fridge. If that runs out, then there's some hot chocolate on the living room table.
Hmmm, might get a few presents for my friends too, I think I know something that help Floyd with his gift-giving queries.

Oooohhh...I love devilled eggs! I'd take just one now.But the Count will probably count them later,and see that there's one missing. So, I can wait. He & the bats did a good job on them. I'll tell them that later. *helping myself to some strawberry eggnog & then going to decoarate some more*
