I was just watching a college basketball preview show with my friends and they reported that Whitney Houston had died. She was only 48. It's very sad; I was never the biggest fan of her music, but she sure had quite the voice. Her version of the national anthem is probably the second best of all time (first is Marvin Gaye's). No cause was reported yet, but she certainly had her problems with drugs. Hopefully her children are okay.

I do believe it may have been from drugs (though don't quote me on that). She was such a beautiful singer, I loved it when she and Mariah Carey sang "When You Believe" for The Prince of Egypt (although the movie version was a bit better). May you rest in peace.
