And now I feel old because I actually remember watching his show. (Granted, I think what I remember was the PBS re-edits after the initial network run ended, because I was barely four years old when the initial network run ended, but still...)

RIP Raquel Welch
Racquel's gone too? I thought she was still active lately. Well, she'll dearly be remembered for her duet with Miss Piggy on "I'm a Woman/Wopig" and as Aunt Vesta on "Sabrina." She'll be dearly missed.

It looks like the guest you're referring to is the very first, Bob Keeshan.
Captian Kangaroo? When was he on MT. I thought the first guest on that one was Michelle Pfeiffer unless there was an unaired pilot or something, but I thought Bob died before MT aired.

He meant the first one who died, and Bob appeared in the Andie McDowell episode.
