RIP Alex Trebek

After a long battle with cancer, the host of Jeopardy!, Alex Trebek passed away early this morning, surrounded by family and friends. We will miss him . May he Rest In Peace.

This is one of those celebrity deaths that hit me real hard. Jeopardy! has been the one show I’ve been watching consistently since I was born, and Alex Trebek has always been a part of that. I have always been a lifelong fan. I was blessed to have had the chance to see a taping of the show back in 2011 and see Trebek in action (albeit very little action since it was around the time he broke his leg and could not get up close to the audience). Like many of you, Jeopardy! has always been a part of my daily routine. Trebek was truly one of the last remaining television figures where both sides on the spectrum had no issue with. It will be very hard for anyone to step into his position.
